Families, Families and more Families – Knoxville Spring Sessions at the Cove

I love capturing families! Whether it’s at a Knoxville, Tennessee wedding, or a family enjoying a day at the park, my job clearly rocks! I had the opportunity to do some Spring Sessions at The Cove recently and thought that these pictures were the perfect answer to a soggy Spring weekend. I hope you enjoy the laughter and smiles!

The Malone Family is a precious one to myself and Amanda. Not only are they amazing people and have an incredibly CUTE little girl named Mallory. But Mallory’s grandmother (Jennifer Malone) gave Amanda her first teaching position and has been a role model for almost a decade. Needless to say, this whole family is amazing. I know that by looking at them you can’t help but smile – I couldn’t help it either when I was editing!

The next family featured is directly related to the Malone family. The two wonderful mom’s are sisters! The Roberts Family – believe it or not – is also near and dear to our hearts. No – I swear I don’t say it about everyone! Their little boy Zion (who let me say is VERY entertaining) is in Amanda’s kindergarten class! Small world right? She says nothing but good things about him and loves him dearly. If you know anything about kids, the apples don’t fall far from the trees. Good home training is so evident in this family! I cherished every minute with them.

Our last feature family is the Hatcher family. I have had the honor of photographing this family from the time their oldest little boy, Johnson, was as just a newborn. Cream of the crop is what I think of when I think of this family. They don’t get much better – honorable, honest, hard working and just plain good! Ashely and Josh have a beautiful family and are so blessed! I can’t wait to see how they help shape these little lives!
Smile away friends, it won’t be hard.

Arnold family 3 month photo shoot

When we edit photos we like to show our 2 year old, Cooper, the pictures. He always has the greatest things to say – especially about kids! This was no exception. He looked at this little cutie and was rave reviews. He kept saying she was “so beautiful” and we couldn’t agree more. This is our second tadpole session with the Arnold family. We were lucky enough to get to capture 5 sweet sessions with their oldest son as well. This family is so gracious and I love taking their pictures. Going into the home of someone to capture special moments in a family’s life is very personal and I take it very seriously. Their mom, Alexis, is always there to share her fantastic ideas and we always get a great result. As a father myself I know that these are some of the most precious times, and they will go too quickly. As Richard Evans said, “ Children will not remember you for the material things you provided but for the feeling that you cherished them.” I hope that these pictures show how cherished this sweet baby girl is.
